Does anybody know is it possible to vary the voltage on an output depending on the length of time an input is received?
Example: For every seconfd the input is active increase the output voltage by 1V upto the maximum output.
Alternatively anybody know of any device which will vary its voltage output from 0-12Vdc which Comfort could control.
Comfort outputs are open collector transistor outputs, they can only be switched on or off and cannot supply analog voltages
Take a look at this device which was found using a google search, it accepts RS232 input and has 0 to 10V outputs, so you could use a UCM05. There is an action Send Rs232 command in Comfigurator Response wizard which can send any text string to the UCM Rs232 port.
However we are not endorsing this device as we have not used it ourselves, it is just an example of what can be found
