Is it possible to disable a tamper alarm caused by removing the Comfort enclosure box from the keypad?. I recently had to alter the telephone copnnection and this resulted in a tamper alarm which could only be reset by pressing the green button inside the enclosure. In order to replace the cover I have had to mechanically disable the tamper switch. How should I reset the alarm after replacing the cover?

You can go to Test Mode which is F3,2 which will temporarily disable the alarms while you are working on it

Thanks slychiu
I have tried doing this and re-setting the tamper alarm by pressing the re-set switch on the main board but I still get another tamper alarm when I put the case back on. I need to be able to re-set this from the keypad.
Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks

I dont understand what the problem is
Press F3,2 on the keypad to go to security Check. This will disable all alarms while you are working on it
When you finish, and put back the cover on the case, the tamper should be closed.
Press F to exit security check. You should not have an alarm.
Can you describe exactly what is happening and what you have done
regards

Thanks admin
The problem was that my installer had located tamper switch so that the cover screw was not actuating it when the cover was on. I have now moved the switch so that the cover screw actuates it when the cover is replaced.
Thanks for the help.
