The principle in such cases where there is a VoIP or special telephone line is; As long as you can use a normal telephone you can connect Comfort to the telephone. This should be the case. In your case if you are using a normal telephone, and not a special one provided by the service and you can hear a dial tone and make a call then that line has line voltage, provides a dial tone, accepts DTMF tones, hence should be able to work with Comfort.
As before you should connect all home telephones to TEL OUT of Comfort
