Hello,

Trying to program Comfort 1 to send an an X10 command 'all lights off' when I armed the system to away mode.

I have comfigurator and can see under 'Miscellaneous events' where I can set the response. Just wonder what the response is. According the to manual I can use 195,65,0,13, 255 which is 'X10 A0 All LightsOff'. but does that only turn off the lights controlled by the unit code A.
What response would turn off all lights???

Regards

Liam

Comfort 1 PRO 4.22.

You could create a response to turn off all the X-10 units by sending
195,65,0,13, 195,66,0,13, 255 and so on. There is no "default" response to turn off all the X-10 units.

The Response Wizard for X10 will show the commands available rather than typing in the actions
Right Click in the Response window and choose Response Wizard

I'm trying to program the lights in the kitchen to dim to 50% after 10 mins of no movement, then off if there is a further 2 mins of no movement, but if there is movement in those final 2 minutes then bring the lights back on full.

It's a comfort I system with no UCM so I have to do all this via responses on the keypad.

It's X10 lighting. Is anyone up for the challenge to help with this? or is there some easy way someone could put this into comfigurator and have it spit out the responses?

Thanks

Bryan.

You can use Comfigurator 3 to program the Responses and read the action codes for the responses created to program using the keypad
The Responses are programmed using Engineer menu 3,6
Before you start you should Fix All Responses in Comfigurator so that when adding or deleting responses, you dont change any response numbers. You have to check that what is preprogrammed into your system corresponds to the Comfigurator Template

Otherwise if this is not possible you will have to use the Programming worksheet to write the Responses before entry using the keypad. It is not an enviable task to program extensively using the keypad, though it is certainly possible

This is all by hand I'm having to do this. So far I have got as far as "if no one is in the room for 10 minutes then light off".

Does comfigurator need to talk to a UCM (I don't have one) or can I run it stand alone and get it to give me the responses I can then manually enter via the key pad?

Comfigurator can run without a UCM if you do not try to write or read from Comfort
