Firstly thank you for setting up these forums, I'm sure they will become a great resource.

A problem I have at the moment is that i set up the answerphone to operate with a common maibox- so it does not ask who i wish to leave a message for. However, only user1 can retrieve those messages. Is there a way that I can get another user (or all users) to have access to the common mailbox?

Thanks in advance

To set up a common Mailbox that can be accessed by any user, there must not be any name recorded for User 1. When a message is recorded to User 1 mailbox, any other user is able to access the messages in mailbox 1 using their own user code.

If mailbox 1 (user 1) has a name recorded, then the mailbox is not common and can only be accessed by user 1

The common mailbox feature is only available from Firmware 4.204 onwards

Thanks for the fast response. I didn't record a name for any users, but what I will do is try and clear it all out anyway.
