Hello,

If I set my DP01 as a keypad to allow it to be used as an intercom, can it also be used to:

To talk to vistors from any phone in the house.
To talk to vistors form any phone or mobile

Just not too sure what are the differences between setting up the door station as a  doorstation or a keypad.

Regards

LiamK

If you set the jumper in the DP01 as a keypad, you wil not be able to do the things listed which are Door station functions

That setting will allow you to press the Door station button to go onto intercom mode with other keypads, ie it mimics the F8 function. You can talk to other keypads in one way mode. Any keypad can talk by pressing any key, also in 1 way
The door station will have a keypad ID  and behave like a keypad without any buttons except the call button

This function has not been used much and may be removed in future versionsof the Door station

Just to add, this is a useful feature for Assisted Living so please do not remove without consultation.
