Hi,
I have recently moved my comfort ultra 1 with A4.206 to a new property. Now that I want to reconfigure things using the new version of configurator, I can't log on. I have tried doing all the things about the engineer code etc and F0....
So I thought the best option was to do a major reset, so that I can start from fresh and reset the engineer password (as I thought I knew what it was). Question is I can't remember how to do this - there is something in my mind about moving one of the chips and downloading something internally.
Can anyone tell me how to do this (in idiots language please)
Many Thanks
Nick

Do you mean that you have forgotten the Engineer code? Try entering F0 and the code + # key on the keypad to confirm this.
if you do have the Engineer code, you should be able to press F0 and use the Engoneer code to download.
If you do not have the Engineer code, but have the user code, try installing an older Version of Comfigurator (< 2.0) and use the User code to download
You can use the UCM with a U4 of the correct file system (24 in your case Ultra 1) and put it in the Master socket of the UCM and press the DOWNLOAD button of the UCM to transfer the program to the Comfort system. However I doubt you would have a U4 with FS24 lying around unless it is from another system
If you are unable to do all of the above, we can send you a default U4 with Fs24 if you give us a prive message with your full address and contact number

Hi Chiu,
Thanks for the reply - I will try using old version of configurator first.
Can I then change the engineer code from within configurator, then install new version of configurator and use new engineer code ?
Many Thanks

Yes, you can change the engineer code from old comfigurator and then use that code in new comfigurator version.
