I am having a problem with the activated zone status that is being shown on the keypad (KP-06).

When I first upload the configuration all triggered PIR's will show correctly on the panel, However, after some time the display will revert to showing "kitchen kitchen kitchen kitchen " no matter what PIR or door is triggered.

I have checked the config thoroughly but cannot see any errors. Is this a bug in the system? and if so is there a work around?

I am using version 3.7.8.0 of the configurator.

On another subject - should I be able to ping the comfort from my PC via the eth3 module? I am managing to communicate with the Comfort via the configurator without any problems, but was just wondering if ping responses were blocked somehow?

Thanks in advance.
Avney

can you send us your cclx file to support@cytech.biz so we can take a look

You can ping your UCM/ETH03 from your PC using the IP address assigned by CS Manager eg ping 192.168.1.2
If you can communicate via Comfigurator then you can ping it

This has been confirmed to be due to a firmware bug in KP06 which occurs under specific conditions. The bug has been fixed in firmware 6.008,  please see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum114/3769.html for details
