FYI
I have now had 2 instances of the error light on the CBUS UCM being constantly on - there appears to be nothing wrong with the installation/communication etc. Did the usual re-boots and tests
We have NOT had the time to look into it further as we just changed the UCM and error light disappeared.

Does the Error light come on by itself or together with the BUSY2?
If the error comes on it means that there is no communication with the CBus SIM after a number of attempts
If BUSY2 comes on it means that there is no reply from the SIM\
This indicates an intermittent CBUS problem
If you send another command does the BUSY2 and Error led return to normal?

If they BUSY2 and ERR leds are on permanently that indicates a problemn with Cnus, connection, or perhaps the SIM Module
If you have another UCM/CBUS see if changing that solves the problem

| Thats what I've done on 2 occasions and everything appears OK units sent back to supplier - it may be you have a faulty batch!
