I am using the Android app on a Samsung S10 Note phone. I have attempted to use a DDNS service (Dynu) to provide the IP address of my home router.  With a home service the allocated IP address changes occasionally.  The DDNS address in the form of XXX.dynu.net resolves to the correct IP address in the form nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn.  (I have tested this on an IP lookup)

If I use the current IP address nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn and a port number nnnn I can get access to the app from a remote location perfectly.  However, if I replace the IP number with the DDNS name  I get a message "Port is not available".
Does this app work with a DDNS name?  If yes, can you give me any idea on what might be going wrong?
Regards,  Robert
