The Comfort system can dial out to 8 phone numbers in the event of an alarm. Each of the 31 Alarm Types can select ANY combination of the 8 phone numbers to dial out to.
The Phone Numbers can be selected from Voice Phone, SMS (with UCM4G GSM Module) or Central Monitoring Station (alarm receiving centre)
Enter the phone type and phone numbers in Alarms > Phone Numbers.
In Alarms > Alarm Type, select the Alarm Type eg Intruder and check thebox for any combination of the 8 phone numbers for this alarm type.
Phone numbers 1 and 2 are normally reserved for Central Monitoring Stations. However if this is not needed, the 2 phone ppositions can be used for the other phone types.
Phone numbers 3 to 8 may be freely assigned to Voice Phone or SMS.
Dialout Groups
Phone settings 1 and 2 form one group for dialing out, while 3 to 8 form another group. In the first group, a kissoff from a Monitoring Station or a valid sign-in from a Voice Phone
stops further dial outs to that group. In the second dial out group (3 to 8), a valid sign-in from a Voice phone stops further dial outs to other phones in the group. Acknowledged dial outs to SMS do not stop dial outs to other phones, but end dial outs only to that particular number.
The sequence of dial outs is from phone 1 to 8. If a dial out is not acknowledged or if the called number is busy or does not answer, the system dials to the next number in the list, and returns to the failed number in the next cycle.
When the user receives a phone call, the Alarm Message and Alarm Tyoe is announced. Press # to acknowledge the alarm, or press * and enter the user code and # key, eg *1234#. This does not disarm the system. Signing in will stop further dialouts to the same Group (phone 1 and 2, or Phones 3 to 8)
