I have been experiencing a number of problems with the DM02 modules (I have two installed).
The latest issue is that the Gate response does notwork. In the miscellaneous events I have added a response to pulse the gate (K1 on the second DM02 module). The response is very simple: Open Door 2 1 10
However, when a doorstation rings the phones, you never are given the option to open the gate??? (i.e., 4 to open gate). Further, when I execute the response from within Configurator, it causes the system to hang (or sometimes reset).
This is quite bizarre behavioi since it should simply close the relay, which would trigger the gate opening. I can figure out why I am not being given the option to open the gate in the first place, and if I execute the Pulse response it causes the system to hang.

I have tested your cclx file
You do not hear "4 to Open Gate" because of a channge we made in recent firmware
Prior to ULT 5.145, when you answer the doorbell on the phone or keypad, you hear "Doorbell 1 or 2, Press 0 for Door Station, 4 for Gate etc"
In that firmware, the initial announcement was removed so you can immediately talk to the door station, ie you hear
"Doorbell 2.." followed by a beep and the audio channel opening
This is to make it easier and faster to get to talk to the visitor
You can still press 4 or 7 to open the door or gate.
If you press any other key except 0,1,2,3,4,7 you will hear the menu
"4 to open gate 7 to open door"
I have tested the Open Gate phone Response by pressing 4 and by executing the Response on Comfigurator.
The relay on the DM002 clicks
If you execute response, the relay will click only if Door station 2 was the last button pressed, according to your Response
One reason for not getting the correct response in execute response could be the Response in Comfort does not correspond to the one on your PC Try a full write before execute response

My problem with DM02/DS01 is that when the button was pressed, the system became hung, all the three KP04 sound non-stop beep and LCD say 'Communication Failure Keypad #', and the phone keep ringing. When I pick up the phone I hear a buzzing sound, hang it up the phone keep ringing again. What is the possible cause?

Does the system restore when you reset the DM02 or disconnect it?
Did the syste work correctly before, or is this a new installation?
Could it be a connection problem? Did you check with the DM02 manual?

OK, after several reset and *1 on the keypad to download text, the problem was gone. Now when the button was pressed, the phone ring and I can hear 'Door Station 1' but I cant talk to nor hear anything from the DS01.
This is 2 years old system, everything work properly except for this.

Check the Voice and MIC connections from DM02 to door station and correct and Voice/MIC to Comfort are correct and not mixed up
Also open a default file and write selective to select only the Configuration > Tuning Parameters so the correct tuning parameters are written to Comfort
See procedure in http://www.comfortforums.com/forum68/2679.html
Make sure you use the latest Comfigurator 3.4.0 or later so that the tuning paameters are the latest
Check what is your Comfort firmware version using Transfer > Systems Information
