Well I must say I am tremendously excited, I have been playing lately with node red a lot and Alexa integration and also the node red dashboard - it is simply fantastic.
To get my head around it in the short term, I have been integrating the alarm via MQTT to Home Assistant and then accessing all the sensors in Node Red. (Caveat it is a little flaky and keeps dropping access periodically, so it is not a proper solution imho but is great to start getting everything ready).
As an aside Home Assistant is a fabulous tool to use as you can integrate so many things to eg (wifi watering systems anyone?) and then make the devices available to node red so they can interact with comfort and vice versa!
So couple of queries :-)
1 - When do you think we will get the proper hardware solution :-)
2 - Have you got anythign fancy in node red you can share with us we can try!
Cheers
Stuart

I have not got round to playing with Node Red (NR) yet but I will be looking at how to use push notifications from NR via pushbullet, Pushbullet is multiplatform so in theory if someone opens a gate ect it will notify you on multi platform & multi phones/tablets ect

The next round of hardware is being fabricated, and the firmware is being developed. We should expect to vsee results soon

Sorry it's been a little quite on here recently.
In terms of updates, the core Cytech code has already been written and I have been busy refactoring the code to make it more production ready.
In the last week or so I have also been working on the community Z-Wave integrations, using a AEON USB Wave stick plugged into the prototype - it all seems to work very well although the integration isn't a slick as the Comfort nodes (rather than having devices exposed, you get the Z-Wave interface which required parsing).
Once the next version of the hardware has been produced and tested we should be ready to ship them out to the beta testers.

Another quick update - the next batch of prototypes is currently being hand finished. I hope to have my hands on one in the next week or so and once testing has finished (focusing on PSU and watchdog) we should be good to push the button for more to be manufactured.
We will have final pricing by that point (for Beta and Production) and will then send an email round looking for early adopters
Thanks for your patience.
