Hello,

 

I have got a problem. I can not receive and transmit X10 codes. Which cable do I use between Comfort II and XM10. Look at see the picture from XM10 connection.

 

Could you tell me what is Comfort II X10 plug connection order?

The X10 telephone cable should be reversed ie pin 4 to 1, 3 to 2, 2 to 3, and 4 to 1
The picture below from the Installation Manual shows how the telephone cable shoujd look when you view it from the side

I've just hit the same problem. I'm buying the XM10U and have a choice of a cross over lead and a straight through lead.

Reading this thread I'm a little confused. Looking at the diagram I would have said that that was a straight through cable, but reading what you've written it sounds like a cross over cable?

I might be able to use a multi meter if I buy the cables, but given the choices from a web site all it says is cross over or straight through. Which does comfort need?

A cross over cable is what you need, ie 1 to 4, 2 to 3, 3 to 2, 4 to 1
I dont know why the cables are not supplied with the product
