Hi, Are you limited to 2 alarm modes with the comfort, i.e. just Home and away or can you have a couple of Home modes, i.e, home mode 1 has zones 1-6 in it, home mode 2 has zone just 1 & 2 in it?

Comfort has Away Mode, Night Mode and Day Mode, so 2 "home modes"
Zone Type 1 is active in Away Mode, Night Mode and Day Mode
Zone Type 5 is active in Away Mode, Night Mode
Zone Type 18 is active in Away Mode Only
If you assign a zone to Zone Type 1, it is active when armed to any modes. This is applicable to exterior doors and windows.
If you assign a zone to Zone Type 5, it is active in Away and Night modes. This is applicable to motion detectors in areas that should not be occupied even in Night mode
If you assign a zone to Zone Type 18, it is active in Away Mode only. This is applicable to motion detectors in areas that occupants can move around at Night without causing alarm.
Hence arm to Away mode when everyone leaves the house. All zones are active. When the entry door is opened, it starts and entry delay to disarm the system
Arm to day mode when there is someone in the house. All internal motion detectors are not active but doors and windows are active. When the entry door is opened, it starts and entry delay to disarm the system
Arm to Night mode when everyone goes to bed. Some internal zones can be active and others inactive. When the entry door is opened, it starts and entry delay to disarm the system
