According to law in most areas, an Intruder alarm is not allowed to have its siren sounding indefinately because of disturbance to the neighbourhood. The Installer will program the siren to turn off after 5 to 10 minutes. After the siren turns off and the system is not disarmed, Comfort will re-arm itself, so any new intrusion will set off the siren again.

During an alarm, Comfort dials to the programmed numbers. After signing in, the user can listen to the keypads for any sounds or even talk to anyone nearby. During the duration of the listen-in, the internal siren and keypad sirens are silenced so you can listen. After the inntercom is ended the sirens resume
