When the Door station dials the programmed number in Away Mode when the doorbell is pressed, you can talk to the visitor at the doorbell without having to sign in. This is to allow conversation without the delay of signing in. However, you are unable to access the menu as you have not signed in, due to security purposes. Hence if you need to access the menu to do other things, eg turn on lights or unset the security system for the visitor, you can hang up and call back to sign in

However you can avoid having to hang up and call back using this method
Press # to end the call. When the Comfort voice is saying "thank you goodbye" press * and enter your code and # key to gain access to the menu

You can use the same method to sign in as another user (or Engineer) while on a remote call.
