I'm user of a comfort PRO, is it possible to add the Spanish residential in the word list for file system 18?
Perhaps the Spanish distributor Carlos Ask something about that today to someone.
Thanks

Unzip the attached zip file to the Comfigurator folder.
When you have a new file for Comfort I, go to Modules and Settings > Wordlists. you should see Spanish Comfort I. This is only the word list in Configurator. It must match the Spanish vocabulary in your Comfort for it to work

I did it but it doesn't works. In my case I have a comfort Pro (file system 18) with the Spanish language. I'm the one who traslate the english to the Spanish in 2002.
I trying to upgrade and update my comfort. I used the configurator 1.6 with my old UCM but when I try to transfer the information to the comfort a message appears asking for a code number. Then I ask to an installer and he told to used Configurator 2.3
After using configurator 2.3, the system works but doesn't speak.
The only thing I want is to use Spanish residential when you use file system 18.
I hope you can help me. Thank for all.

I don't understand why you did not have the Comfort I Spanish residential wordlist as it used to be included with Comfigurator older versions. Were you not able to select Spanish words at all before?
Can you tell me what you downloaded into Comfort, and what you are trying to upgrade. The wordlist files I gave were for Comfigurator only to allow you to select Spanish words in Zones and Control menu, and shhould not cause the voice to be lost. You did not try to do a vocabulary download, I hope.
Please provide all the information so we can understand what happened
Also what is your UCM and Comfort version

I have comfort Outside 4.222 and UCM 5.02
I add some new zones and detector and i wanted to change some responses, this the reason to use comfigurator, my first progamings was with csxpress in 2002.
Now i bought to Carlos a UCM ethernet but I didn't install it.
What I want to do is "play" with configurator in programing but using the same comfort system. Perhaps in short future I'll change to confort II if I see the adventages.

If you unzip the 3 files in my original post and copy them into the Comfigurator folder this should allow you to see Spanish Comfort I in wordlist for Comfort I. See the screenshot

I unzip again the files and I don't see the changes. I unzip in the follow folder:
C:\Program Files\Cytech\Configurator
The first time I copied the files a message appears telling that you were rewriting the same files (with the same size).
I look for another folder but I think this is the right one.
Thank for your help.

The files are correct
What are the wordlists you see in the wordlist window compared to my jpg file that I showed?
Have you selected Comfort I PRO?

Can you open vocust.cfg in the Comfigurator folder and check that the contents are
>Custom WordList
00=Promenade,promnfor.cfg,sentence.cfg
01=Spanish Comfort I,cs-wl-sp.cfg,sentence_spa.cfg
02=Portuguese_v7,cs-wl-pt_v7.cfg,sentence-pt_v7.cfg
Check that the files cs-wl-sp.cfg and sentence_spa.cfg are found in the same folder
Also copy the vocab.cfg file to the same folder in case it was corrupted

vocust.cfg is exactly as you wrote:
>Custom WordList
00=Promenade,promnfor.cfg,sentence.cfg
01=Spanish Comfort I,cs-wl-sp.cfg,sentence_spa.cfg
02=Portuguese_v7,cs-wl-pt_v7.cfg,sentence-pt_v7.cfg
I unzip the vocab.cfg and rewrite in the comfigurator folder.
and still it doesn't work.

I suspect that Comfigurator is using a different folder than what you used to save the files
Copy this default.cfg into the same folder, then ipen a new fiile and see if you can see Comfort I Ultra and Comfort I PRO in the list. If not then the folder is not the same

I did and I can see COMFORT I PRO , and COMFORT I ULTRA, COMFORT I ENTRY, so the folder is the same.
Where I live we say:
I don't believe in Witches, but they exists......
Could you send a copy of you configurator file in which you made the changes and it works?
Regards
Vicente

Curiouser and curiouser!
Check the attached file. I have zone 1 programmed with some spanish words and the wordlist is Spanish Comfort I
I wonder if the problem could be due to your Spanish windows language

What do you mean with:
"I wonder if the problem could be due to your Spanish windows language"
Can I change something in windows Spanish language?
Thank for your help.

If you can see the Spanish words now, then there should be no problem
Are you able to create a new file and select Spanish?
