This new version has many useful improvements

Bugs Fixed
  1.  Fixed Bug in Functions: If Blinds  or Thermostats are assigned to Outputs, the Outputs references are shown in Blue but the references are empty
  2. Alternative phrases in Control Menu - Fixed bug when alternative phrase is added and deleted, it still remains as "" and cause problem wrong display in App
  3. Fixed bug  new field GSM Module Type is getting the correct value by "Read from EEPROM" but is not saved with the file When the saved file is opened, the field is Unknown
  4. Fixed bug in  IRIO -There is no "None" option available for the submodule type drop-down list If one of the types is chosen by mistake, the field  cannot be reverted to "None" (other than "Reset to Default").
Changes
  1. In Write to Comfort, "Write User Codes" has been removed. This may cause accidental overwrite of user codes which had been changed by keypad. Write User Codes can be done in Security > Sign in Codes where there is "Write User Codes" and "Read User Codes"
New Features
  1. Counters, Flags, Sensors, Outputs - Show Status can show the current state of the registers. Now you can also write values to these registers. This is great for testing mapping to KNX, Cbus, Zwave, Modbus, RIO, HIO etc
  2. Names of Zones, Outputs, Counters, Flags Sensors. The character '_" can be inserted before the name so that when the register is selected for mapping in eg IRIO, HIO, UCM/KNX and other UCMs, the underscored registers appear in the top of the list for easy selection. Otherwise selection is by alphabetic order. eg Counter Name _StudyLight would be at the top of the list ahead of Counter001, Counter002 etc
IRIO
  1. New Field Temperature Calibration Offset for the Thermistor temperature adjustment
HIO
  1. New Field Temperature calibration offset in HIO
  2. New  Property for source/sink current for LED to vater for different type of ELV switch
  3. Added  mapping for some elements MUR, DND etc in channels
UCM/Modbus
  1. When TCP Interface is selected, the link to Comfort Server Manager is seen in Modbus Properties, so there is no need to go to Options > Settings to selecft the Universal UCM IP address and Port for Modbus/TCP
  2. In Modbus Slave Mode, a new tab Modbus Server is seen. This gives ALL the modbus addresses assigned to Comfort registers in Decimal and Hexadecimal for easy reference - no need to calculation or lookup of the manual
  3. Added Monitor Mode for Modbus communications. This shows transmitted and Received modbus messages, which is a great help when testing the connection and communication
More illustration of these changes will follow

Please download from this beta version from http://www.cytech.biz/download_files.php?item_id=980

Is it safe to use? Yes, but for minor issues yet to be discovered

Carry on Comfiguring!

A major improvement in Comfigurator 3.11.12 is the ability to change the values of Counters, Sensors, Outputs, and Flags from Comfigurator. This is a great help when testing  programs especially for IRIO, UCMs like KNX, Cbus, Modbus, Zwave which are based on mapping to Counters, Flags, Sensors and Outputs.

For Counters go to Events > Counters and select a Counter
check the "Show Status" box
The current value of the selected Counter is seen
Enter a new value from 0 to 255 in the box. This changes the value of the counter immediately.
Note that changing the value of a counter from the UCM like this will also trigger the maped Counter Response

For Flags  go to Names > Flags  and select a Flag
check the "Show Status" box
The current value of the selected Flag is seen as On or Off. In fact all flags status is seen
Click on the On or Off status to toggle it. This changes the value of he flag from On to Off or vice versa

For Outout   go to Names > Outputs  and select an Output
check the "Show Status" box
The current value of the selected Output is seen as On or Off. In fact all Output  status is seen
Click on the On or Off status to toggle it. This changes the value of ehe Output  from On to Off or vice versa

For Sensors  go to Events > Sensors  and select a Sensor
check the "Show Status" box
The current value of the selected Sensor is seen
Enter a new value from 0 to 255 in the box. This changes the value of the Sensor immediately.
Note that changing the value of a counter from the UCM like this will also trigger the mapped Sensor  Response
