The standard default template (def34.cct) is populated with many useful responses, to make it easy to select a suitable Response without having to create one. For example, there are Responses to turn on and off Outputs 1 to 16, X10 A house codes, Pulse outputs, send IR Codes to outputs, TWS reponses etc.

This may be useful, but in many situations, the default responses get in the way. They make it more of a hassle to locate responses that you create because you have to scroll down a long list of responses.

An alternate default template for Comfort called min34.cct has been created (see attached) that only has the minimal responses which are required for normal operation including the keypad shortcut Responses. Another benefit of a shorter Response set will also mean shorter download (PC -> Comfort) times as there is less data to transfer. This will be useful especially to more experienced Comfort programmers. You can always refer to the full template for the responses  you need to copy over

Note that you can select min34.cct or any other cct file as the default which is loaded when you do a File > New. Go to Options Menu, and Default Template.. Choose the new default file.
