Might be handy for people to list changes they would like to see in the next version of comfigurator...

My first one:

Store the connection details (serial, network ip address etc.) in the config file not the program.

This is one of the changes to trhe next version. However we plan to store the information (Connection port, IP address, port) in the General Information screen (together with the Comofrt system information) , but the actual connection settings wil still be be in the program. The reason is that the ccl file may be used on other computers so it should not change the connection settings to what was used on another computer. The information may be useful for troubleshooting connection problems.
Keep the suggestions coming

The new version of Comfigurator, version 3.0 is being completely rewritten in the .NET platform. The interface will be improved and more intuitive and changes in future can be made more easily. Many of the changes requested by users will be implemented, and reported bugs wil be fixed. A beta version should be available for testing in a few weeks time

Would be useful to merge in the functionality of Comfort Bus Monitor into Comfigurator. When modifying schedules in Comfigurator, I often want to see what's happening on the Comfort Bus before making further changes in Comfigurator. An option where I don't need to keep switching between programs would be great.

The I/O Monitor allows you see see most of what is happening in Comfort through the UCM. In Comfigurator 3, it will be integrated into the program instead of opening a separate window and will be more useful for what you want

Have a look folks, there is some good stuff in here!

Just some of the new bits...

- Connection details will be storeed in ccl ;-)
- Fields for installer information
- Clearer multipane windows
- IO monitor in lower pane if required, does not get in your way
- Revamed Response editor

Most powerful change is probably the IF statements you can now check for multiple conditions within one IF will make coding clearer. Also have more evaluation types
