Hi

If you are planning a new update to wizcomfort, could you consider the following possible enhancements.

Add a Smartfit tab to Setup>Options and here:

(a) Allow each of the feedbacks on the tabs to be mapped to specific counters.  The reason for this is then we are not then constrained to the base counters that Smartfit writes too.  For example (as noted in other threads) I've remapped certain counters to other counters to correct the "69" setpoint issue; this then reports transparently through the control menu options. Also you can do F to C  or C to F modifications etc on the counters.  Also then you don't need the base counter address (although you could use this to default counters if you wanted or if you ever get around to fixing the firmware). The Base counter tends to error anyway..."The Smartfit base counter is invalid (too big)!"...when reading the CCL(CCLX) so be glad to see the back of that error :D

(b) Get rid of "Override room temp setpoint" feedback as this doesn't do anything as you've already noted in the manual and in previous thread discussions. This counter is now "reserved" in config.

(c) For "Hot Water Demand" feedback I only think you need one or the other in the main tab; ie "Electric" or "Gas/Oil".  Perhaps you can have both setup in the options page, allow mapping to counters as per (a) and have a checkbox against each that toggles visibility or not on the main tab.  The renderer for that tab only renders the ones which are checked as visible.  Then most people can have one only but just in case there is a wierd setup where people can have "Electric" or "Gas/Oil" then your bases are covered.

(d) The "Overide Heating and Hot Water Scheduler Modes" action; it's not clear to me the difference in the righthand pane between what the On/Off field does versus the on/off radio buttons under "Heater" and "Hot Water" panels.  Perhaps clarify text/help on what this does as to me confusing!.

Obviously a lot more outside other things that have fallen behind but these are my Smartfit wishes.

J
