Holiday/Vacation Mode: Is there a way, or could it be considered for the future, for Comfort be put into an alternate mode for Holiday. I'd like Comfort to ask you for the duration of the holiday as part of the set routine.
Then, for example Comfort could set back the heating and then restore it before the end of the holiday

Probably it would be simpler to call back to restore the heating settings
It may be more complex operationally to add a way to specify the number of days for the holiday when you arm to vacation mode on the keypad.
Another way would be to use a Time Program to check the day of month for the return, in order to activate the response

That is just the point and I think something that is often missed in peoples requests over time programs. They are difficult for a client to use especially occasionally.
Understand this could be difficult on the Comfort side but for the customer...
Press a keypad key configured as holiday...
"Holiday mode, please enter return date DDMMYY followed by hash"
010308#
"You are returning on 1st March 2008. Press # if this is OK"
#
"Holiday mode, please exit etc."
Then have a configurable response for this event.
Very simple. Personaly think time programs are often overlooked or seem complex to the client. This is why people have asked you for a program with, A On time, A Off time and A On response and A Off response. Just my thoughts, sure others will suggest otherwise.

There may be a problem with the precision of the time of return in practice.
You may not want the heating turned up a full day before the return, as that would be a waste of energy, and it may not do to turn it on the day of your return as you may not know exactly what time you would be returning, or if in fact you may not even be able to return on the planned day. This could lead to a host of complications, comparfed to just calling up on the way home to turn up the heating
