Hello ,
as you might know the convergent Companion touchscreen been upgraded with the new BORG http://www.borgdisplays.com/ with NEO line that runing companion operating system.
my Question is. i have a client who need to install two touch screen color with his system, and he refused to install any keypad.
Dose the system accept two touch screen? we figure that we could install one using UCM /audio (10mt closed to system to use audio) and the other using ethernet, is this applicable?
could we eliminate keypads from the systems?
thanks for feeding me back.

You can use two touchscreens connected to UCMs, as up to 8 ucms can be connected to a system
We are devloping the new version of Wizcomfort which wil run on Touchscreens with XP, which wil be ready in aboout 3 months
Borg may be a good choice of wall mounted touchscreens, which Wizcomfort may run on. I would not use Companion Neo though as support was through Convergent Living which is no longer operating\

You must have 1 keypad in the house even if it is inside a room. You cannot depend on touchscreens They look nice but if there is a power failure then the whole system cannot be used
For software and touchscreens, look at http://www.quiiq.com/
They have a Comfort interface using a UCM

with my last contact 2 weeks ago with Mr. Craig Slawson (BORG, ex-convergent) i was informed with the following "We offer integrated control solutions with Companion NEO supporting a host of systems drivers like that for Cytech and others attached. Very easy setup. All self-contained.
which means that his new touchscrean Companion OS is support by BORG, dose it operate smoothly with cytech
i can not found the site you mentioned of touch screen, since this project will be signed within days and we have to order according ASAP

The link is wrong. While text displays two "i" in the domain name, the link point at http://www.quiq.com, with one "i".
