How weather prrof are the door stations?

How weather prrof are the door stations?
I have just aquired a Comfort ULtra version 1 which has a door station outside my house the is a small cover over the door but not alot will the original door station be ok or is it not that weatherproof?

The door stations are made of ABS/Polycarbonate material which resists extremes in temperatures better than normal plastics. For outdoor mounting, apply some silicon sealant along the top edges along the line between the front and back housings to prevent water seepage.

However, the door station should NOT be mounted in a locations where it is exposed to direct rain water. It is NOT water-proof or rain-resistant.
