The installation i'm working on has a dect handset, it does'nt ring when the door station is pressed or when you just want to ring into the landline, aswell as i can't access the comfort system through the dect phone by pressing *,  the comfort system does not have a ringer module fitted in j57, does this not work due to the missing module? There is a gsm module though,

 thanks neil

You need to have a RGR04 module in order to ring the hones, but it looks like you may not have set the number of Door Stations to 1 in Comfigurator (Reset required)
Without the Ringer, the Keypad should chime ("ding dong") and when you press anny key, it should say Press 0 for Door station
Also check that the ID shunts are inserted (ie ID=1)
