Hi all
We are trying to control curtains with Comfort with no success . We use counters and relays (TWS02) to open/close the curtain, but sometimes this one goes mad, and open or close without control.
Could you give me another options (X10??) to control curtains?
Thks
Carlos

We are using the same wiring and same concept of responses and we also get strange results: sometimes the curtains work fine some other times they don't and Comfort seems to behave erroneously.
Have you managed to sort out your problem. Any hints?
Thanks

How does your curtain operate? Is it by sending a pulse or continuos signal?
When your curtain operates by sending pulse signal to it, the curtain responses carlos_conde has posted may not work perfectly. When you press "down" the curtain will go all the way down until the timer expires or until the curtain motor has reached its max but the problem occur when you press "up" before the down's timer expires, it'll just simply ignore the "up" command and proceed with "down" all the way. You need to wait for the curtain to finish one command before pressing the other.
One way is to introduce a delay (like 1 second) to each of the "down" and "up" button. So when you press "down" and then you want to cancel it by pressing "up", you can do so by turning off output for curtain down and after 1 second turning on output for curtain up. The same principle works from "up" and "down".
Another alternative is to send pulse signal of 2 seconds. Send a pulse to curtain up output and the curtain will go up till the end. Send another pulse to curtain up output before the curtain reaches the max, it will stop it. Send another pulse it will resume going up again, and so on. Same concept applies for curtain down.
If any one of them doesn't work, can you provide us with the details of curtain and the ccl file

Carlos
Your ccl files and connections are fine
I understand that the problems with your curtains was due to faulty relays. This may have been due to the relays not having sufficient current rating to handle the curtain motor current, especially the initial current drawn by the motor. This may have cased the relays to fail. You should try using a more suitable higher rated relay or a contactor which is driven by a relay for this
