Palmlodge, you will pleased to know that we have identified the problem which you encountered. This happens in the week of the DST change after the date itself (ie in this case, 28th to 31st October. In that period, the sunrise and sunset times will be as if the Daylight saving change (-1 hour) had not happened yet, hence they will occur one hour later than expected.
The next firmware release will fix this. There is no hurry for UK users as the problem will not be seen until next year in March. No in fact the problem only occurs after the daylight saving change time backwards after the day of the change itself within that one week
Thanks for your help in finding this and your persistent complaints

Surely a typo due to the lateness of the hour..
Anyway check out the new Comfigurator 2.2.3  (see announcement on http://www.comfortforums.com/forum20/873.html)
which has the sunrise/sunset response. This will save you from having the timer to check the suunset flag every 15 minutes

This problem is back again - today is the first day of British Summer Time. The clocks changed last night. The previous fix in the firmware for this report last October has not fixed this issue.

Comfort's clock is correct (as shown on the KP04) - but the sunset/sunrise is happening an hour too early (the clocks went forward).

Can we get a fix for this immediately please. This will continue Im sure for some time.

Update :

The times in Comfigurator are all wrong - unless Comfort copes with knowing which time zone it's in (ie BST to GMT)

Youd expect a different of just over an hour from week 12 to week 13, but i dont - it's only 12 mins.

So is the problem Comfigurator and how it calculates the times  ?

This site states a different of 1hr and 2 mins from yesterday to today.

The Sunrise and Sunset times in Comfigurator are without any Daylight saving adjustments. This means that if the sunrise time is 6:00 AM and Daylight saving is in operation, then the sunrise should occur at 7:AM. The sunrise and sunset times in Comfigurator will not suddenly jump by 1 hour at the dates of the change.

The sunrise and sunset times should be correct as this has been tested quite comprehensively. We have also tested the change to Daylight saving that occured yesterday

This is Week 13 (25 March Tuesday to 31 January Monday) calculated from 1st January 2008
For London the sunrise time for the week is 5:51 AM and Sunset time is 6:20 PM
On Sunday morning, the daylight saving time change will take place at 3:00 AM, so Comfort time will move forward to 4:00 AM

Comfort wll also move the  Sunrise time to 6:51 AM and the Sunset time to 7:20 PM to correspond to the actual programmed sunrise and sunset times

We have tested a simple response at sunrise (switch on output) and sunset (switch off output) and have confirmed that they actually occur at the correct times for 30 March.

Do you know exactly what times the sunrise and sunset responses in your case occured?

This evening things have kicked off at 7.20pm - so I will assume it's all back to normal, and the issue only occurs for one day after a time change.

Certainly last night, they came on early AND the night mode flag failed as the motion detection for all the lights that use it stopped working. This is the exact same problem as last October.

Once the time gets to midnight on the day of the change, the sunrise and sunset times will be moved forward.
We can confirm this using a tool to examine the internal states of the system. Once the time rolls over to midnight on Sunday 30 March, the sunrise and sunset times are changed to 6:51 AM and 7:20 PM so it is not possible for them to occur 1 hour earlier as those times are not in the memory anymore
This applies to firmware 5.121 where bugs in the daylight saving times algorithms were fixed. Are you using an older firmware?
