ACS in Australia has announced the availability of 240V 50Hz UPB Lighting control system  from September 2007
The obvious advantage of UPB being it is a fully retrofit  product, (ideal for existing homes), which is hard wired and secure. 
UPB = NO New WIRING.  No Cat 5e.  
Simply remove the existing wall switch replace it with ours, install an in line dimmer, program it and that’s it. Hence the cost of running new cables in nil  and retrofitting an existing home is a relatively negligible labor cost compared with current hard wired lighting systems.
