If you have problems getting the UCM to communicate with Comfort , ie error message "No Response from UCM" check that Flow Control on the UCM and Comfigurator is disabled
In Comfigurator, go to Options menu > Connections, and in the baud rate setting page, set Flow Control to NONE
On the UCM05, check that SW8-G is not shorted ie remove the jumper and reset the UCM
Disabling Flow control on both UCM and Comfigurator may solve some communications problems between UCM and Comfigurator as well as other application software
