Any help with this problem on Ultra II new system

Comfigurator = 2.2.3 / UCM = 5.159

I have been using a UCM/ETH with no problems on this system as a temporary measure until my UCM05 came as it was out of stock.

I keep getting the error message "Unknown exception while connecting to UCM" .

So Far

1- I have used the DS manager to set the IP and it can see the ETH01

2- I have tried using the RS232 on the UCM05 and when removing link F and jumper to RS232 it works, which make me think the UCM05 is OK

3- I have tried a new ETH01 and still the same problem

4- I put the old UCM/ETH back in and it works fine without changing any settings

Are the Device Server settings correct as shown on page 40 of the UCM Manual?
ie the serial baud rate, parity etc. Set Flow Control to NONE

The Eth01 settings are held in the ETH module so the two that you use would have diferent settings

Also on the UCM, remove the SW8-H shunt to disable Flow Control

Use Hyperterminal (Private Edition 6.3 is better) to set up a connection to the UCM/ETH and see uf you can log in by typing <CTRL-C>LI1234<ENTER>. UDCM should reply <CTRL-C>LI01

1234 is the user code so if you have changed it use the new code
