Does the UCM/usb module supply power to the usb connection such that it can power a device connected to it?
Thanks

No it does not supply power, as it assumes the PC USB port has power
Whaht did you intend to connect it to?

I have been looking into rfid readers with a view to connecting one to the alarm (which I have yet to buy). My dad would find it easier to arm/disarm the system this way rather than enter a code. There are several different connection types, rs232, usb, rj45 etc but I am trying to find one that will be easy to connect AND will look good next to the keypad.
