You mean that the program does not run, no screen appears? Did the installation complete, with any errors?
Something on your PC may be preventing it from  running?
Also try another computer?

Hi,

I couldn't get the one supplied on the comfort CD to work either, but then again I'm using Vista Ultimate. It would install Ok but the shortcut to the program just didn't work although the path to the app looked ok.

In the end I downloaded the latest beta from the Tibbo website, installed this and it worked just fine.  http://www.tibbo.com/get_dst.php

If you are using Vista too (you didn't say) then it might be worth a shot!

Regards

Julian

That may be the problem.
Vista has many known incompatibilties with existing software applications, (or should it be the other way round), so when you have problems with running anything on vista, you need to look for a new version of the software. We will be releasing the Vista compatible versiion of the Device Server Manager soon

Yes, Vista seems to be the problem.

Thanks

There is a new version of the Device Server Manager and a patch for Vista to go with it available from http://www.cytech-technology.com/software.html

Note that after installing the new Device Manager 3.9.82, Vista users are to copy the files in the patch files into:

C:WINDOWSinftvsp.inf
C:WINDOWSsystem32tdstui32.cpl
C:WINDOWSsystem32driverstvsp.sys
C:WINDOWSsystem32driverstsvc.sys

After that reboot the PC. DS Manager should work after that.

Hi,

I downloaded the software and can't seem to locate the patch files.

Also, I am using Mainlobby to send RS232 commands, which 'comm port' is the DS Manager using ?

I tried setting up a virtual comm port but DS Manager reports that the service is not running.

There is a firmware upgrade for Vista users. http://www.tibbo.com/get_firmware.php

But it seems like the EM100 is no longer supported, hence no Vista upgrade.

Any chances of providing an upgrade to the Tibbo module on the UCM ?

Thanks
