The Cytech Basic Training course was conducted on 7th and 8th February

This was followed by an Advanced Training session on the 9th where new products including the Universal UCM, Logic Engine, UCM/Zwave3, and KP06 were introduced and demonstrated.

At the session, Kevin Sheldrake, Business Development Manager of Carlo Gavazzi gave a presentation of the Smart House product. The new Universal UCM can now talk to the Smart House, and the combination is being implmented in several prestigious projects in the UK

This was followed by a presentation by Ivan Lewis from VDA UK about the elegant Vitrum Zwave switches. The UCM/Zwave3 is able to talk to Z-Wave networks. L Y Chiu from Cytech demonstrated how the UCM/Zwave3 could be set up to associate a button on the Vitrum remote control and a Vitrum satellite switch to trigger a panic alarm on Comfort. Other buttons can be associated with Arming the security system, or to trigger outputs or Responses, to to be mapped to Counters and Sensors. A Zwave sensor can also be associated with a security zone so that it can act as a moiton sensor in the security system
