The Comfort system can be interfaced to the Honeywell Smartfit system. This allows Comfort to control and monitor the Smartfit. Comfort provides the following benefits to the Smartfit:

  • telecontrol through any telephone inside or outside the premises to and monitor the hot water and room temperature, the hot water and heating setpoints, and whether the heating, hot water and frost protect is currently on or off.
  • Change the heating setpoint and override the heating mode
  • Override the hot water mode
  • allows control by Comfort Time Programs.
  • Allows heating and hot water modes to be determined by security modes (Security Off, Away, Night, day, Vacation)
  • allows Comfort’s Webserver Module (CWM) to provide Internet access to control and monitor the Smartfit.
  • Allows Comfort Responses to operate based on temperature limits.

    Hi,

Does anyone have or has anyone installed the UCM for Honeywell Smartfit? I'm interested in this however I have not seen many real life examples of how well this works.

Also does anyone know of any alternatives that may work with Comfort?

    Cheers

    Freshy

Smartfit has mainly been used in the UK as far as we know. You can also try another independent Comfort users group at http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/comfort-technical/ which has mainly UK members
