I believe that there are plans to incorporate more interfaces to Comfort in the future can you enlighten us to the possibilities of further interfacing.

The list I expect could go on but maybe Rako and Centralite and JCL may be useful ones for lighting.

Along with Zigbee; En-ocean; UP&P:

The next version of Comfigurator will include Wizards for Luton and Rako using a standard UCM which means the commands are one way
Other interfaces are further away as we have been spendiong the last few months on compliance to EN50131 (which to me degrades the product and has absolutely no benefit to the user)

Hi Chiu / all,

I recall speaking to you back in the old Yahoo forums about the availability of a Z-Wave UCM.

I also spoke to Comfort UK in the Smart Home Show in Biringham, UK a few weeks ago and they confirmed that a protoype was being trialled.

Could you confirm the firm availibility of Z-Wave integration with Comfort ?

I'm aware that many Comfort users are also users of the higher end Harmony Remote controls which also feature Z-Wave. This would give a very slick and integratted experience.

Really hoping to hear a positive response to this. The wait has been too long!

Thanks.

We are still working on a Zwave UCM, but it is not ready for release yet. We will make an announcement when it is available. We do not want to promise or even say when we expect it as we do not want to disappoint anybody, but it should be within 6 months

I understand from feedback that the Zwave modules available in the UK as only plug on lamp and appliance modules, like x10 which have limted appeal. Do you know what Zwave modules are available?

The Harmony remote control may now be used with Comfort, as Comfort IR codes are available on their database.
