Thank you for your prompt response. I'm having problem with the GSM module. I try to send an SMS Command message but, nothing happens. Here are my question?

1. We are using etisalat sim (we are located in dubai, UAE) which is "+97150" & the 7 digit number" in the security/phone numbers i assign "0097150#######" as SMS and another number also as "050#######". Why the comfigurator cannot accept the "+" character?

2. I tried the SMS command (411) & (4011) individually to turn on the lights but both won't work. What is the correct command? I have attached the configuration in the control keypad.

3. How i can trace that it can recieve the SMS command? (in the comfigurator)

4. Why i cannot recieve also the reply sms message from comfort.

Thanks, hope you could give us time to figure this out.

In order for the UCM/GSM to accept SMS commands, the phone number must be programmed as one of the 8 numbers  to dial out as either voice phone or SMS. If the last 7 digits does not match, the incoming SMS will be rejected

The programmed telephone numbers do not need the + or 00 prefixes if the system is dialling a local number. For overseas number for dialout, you can enter the international code just as you would when making an international call. Comfort does not currently allow for a "+" key for a telephone number. This will not be necessary unless the SMS is to be sent to an overseas number whic is unlikely

Does Comfort send SMS correctly to the programmed mobile phone? You can test this by doing  Dial Test F3 3. This dials to all programmed numbers whatever they are. This will confirm that the GSM network is active.

The new GSM Manual 1.05 is available on the website at http://www.cytech.biz/Downloads/Files/188/gsmman.pdf
It adds a warning not to use 1.8V 3G SIM Cards in the UCM/GSM as these may not work
