I am thinking about installing a couple of Scene Control switches Esprit 6 Button and I am wondering has anyone configured these switches to act in dual method.
For example using button one turns lights on/off (toggle mode) and using button two does the same, say for some other lights. Now using both buttons simultaneously configured so that they act as a panic button.
If you have incorporated this successfully could you please, tell me the command lines that you used for dual operation as this will be the first time I have done this method also did you incorporate a slight time delay ie for accidental usage 2 sec press and hold for activation!
If this cannot be done through configuration, how about it gets incorporated in an upgrade of the scene switches in the future. obviously with the ability to turn the function of as not everyone would want it.

Each SCS button  behaves like an Input and triggers the SCS/RIO On and Off Response for that input
So pressing two buttons together would be like 2 zones being triggered together

You can do some logic when one SCS button is triggered, to check the other button state and if it is also ON at that time, do the combined function eg panic

The scs uses 2 pairs, if you are using cat 5 why not use one of the spare pairs as a panic button.

I understand the logic and for most part the capabilities of it. and was wondering if it was possible to create a dual function that I could program into the SCS. I already foresee that this maybe problematic as one button checking state of other and then trigering will mean that other parameters would cause dual function to activate when not requested! Im not sure how you would incoperate the a pair of wires into the scs to create panic function. I fully admit that this was just an idea to create a standard panic button feature into scs functioning and was wondering if anyone else had done something similar. Like all things it starts with an idea and it is the more techy amongst us who are able to realise the potential. The only other solution would be to use a pair of buttons as a panic activation, which reduces the amount of function buttons on the SCS by one as suggested by Slychiu.....
