Hi,
I want to know the state of my Z-Wave lamps and some alarm zones via the Iphone app or by calling the system.
I have been told how to do it, but still not really figured it out. So if anyone can help me get this working I would appreciate it.
Cheers

Not sure about Z wave - but for the alarm zones - go to http://www.cytech.biz/crl_test.php
Load up your cclx then open the email it sends you on your iphone, this will store all your zones in the comfort app on the iphone.
Then when you log into the iphone app - you can go to the zones tab and see the current state of all the zones.

Cheers Schford....
That works great on the iPhone, how about if I call the system on the phone?
Hopefully some else will have an idea on the Z-wave side of things. BTW Z-Wave works great with the sytem.

Z-Wave state can see on the iPhone app.
See UCM/Zwave Manual, tells you how to have feedback of zwave in Counters. Use Zwave Configurerator to assign Counter to Zwave address, see photo http://www.comfortforums.com/forum62/1417.html
Make Home Control Menu for control Z-Wave and put Feedback Type as Counter, select the Counter mapped to the Z-Wave address.
Send the cclx file to iPhone by email using the same http://www.cytech.biz/crl_test.php
In iPhone Home Control Page will show the Zwave device status
But the status for Z-Wave is update every 10 seconds

To hear the state of zones using telephone, go to Security Check menu, 3,4,2. It announce all zones that are ON (open) and not zones that are OFF
To hear control menu status on phone, do 4 for Home Control and press key for controled devices like Zwave and menu will announce ON, OFF or level

Hi Tech07 (1 of 3)
I have setup the following. However, I don't seem to be able to setup multiply counters under the the module section. Not sure if that is necassery or not.
I am using HomePro Z-Wave lamp plugins and an Aeon Labs Z-Stick Serise 2 and the main interface. To be honest I have stopped using the Z-Stick and just use this to program the Cytech system.
Before I run the config through for the iPhone is there any way I can test? Should the status change on the control menu?
Cheers Lee

You have set up Zwave ID 2 assigned to Counter 1 as feedback. Control menu 0 for Lights > 1 for Lounge lamp will control the Zwave ID
This is correct. The counter will store the state of the Zwave ID
Hence if you go to keypad F2 0 for Lights, 1 for Lounge lamp you wll hear "Lounge Lamp is " OFF or ON or level 0 to 99
You dont have to set up Multiple counters, just 1 counter per Zwave devjce
However the Zwave status is updated once only every 10 seconds depending on the setting

Hi Ident
I have not had much luck with this. Using the keypad I just get light on even if their off and the iPhone app shows all off even if they are on.
I have run the CCLX file through the email conversation program so should be the same as on the hardware.
Oh and the icon on the garage door status seems to have changed
Cheers

Hi Ident,
Last one on this I hope.
Why does the garage door show as a percentage? I can't upload a pic right now but the response it set to a on / off reed switch.
Cheers

A percentage is shown if your assigned counter has a value between 1 to 254
Check what the zwave status is

Hi Ident,
I had set this as a sensor as the trigger is a reed switch. So assumed it was open or closed.
Cheers

Hi,
Just realised what the problem is.... The unit showing a % is not the garage door sensor as I though, but an old z-wave light moduel I had replaced. :-( sorry to waste your time.
guess i need to go round the z-wave network and delete the missing item.

Hi All,
Figured out what I had been doing wrong and all good on the lights now.... I had just setup the control bit wrong :-( Ident / Chiu thanks for your patients.
I agree that the zone state is shown so I can see status of the garage door there (this is working). However, I would if possible like to see it in the control menu.
