The last Training course from 17th to 19th March 2009 (Advanced session on 19th march) in London (see http://www.comfortforums.com/forum40/1295.html ) had some useful suggestions for new features for Comfort from some of our most experienced installers.- Allow Slave Speaker and Strobe outputs to drive additional internal speaker and strobes on the premises to overcome power suppky limitations when driving more than 1 device. Currently only the SIREN output can be used on Slaves.
- Allow Sunrise and Sunset Responses to be activated at an offset to the Sunrise and Sunset times, eg to run Responses before or after actual sunrise or sunset
- Report Flag changes on the UCM and allow Flags to be queried
- Allow voicemail to work on the GSM. Currently when calling the GSM, there is no voicemail and Comfort says "Please Sign in". The suggestion to allow voicemaiil allows messages to be recorded but also prevents accidental callers from realising that a Comfort system is connected to the line
- Add actions for mathematical functions multiply, add, subtract
- Answering Machine menu to be more like mobile phone voicemail options. For saved messages play newer message first
- GSM sending text messages to allow text to replace the 4 digit "Pager code" to identify the system which sent out the text message
- Action code to prevent ringer from ringing phones for Door Station
Most of these suggestions will be implemented in a future firmware release
