The I/O monitor is an excellent diagnostics tool. Is it possible to allow acces via the UCM/ETH rather than just the RS232 port?

Use Comfigurator 3 as it's already built into that and works over ethernet.

Well even in Comfigurator 2, the I/O Monitor can be used over Ethernet if you have select Ethernet in the Connections options
Do you mean the Comfort Bus Monitor, which is a different program which monitors the Comfort RS485 Bus?
There is a Virtual Serial Port software included in the new UCM/Ethernet Device Server Toolkitwhich maps a Ethernet IP address and Port to a serial port but unfortunately the Bus monitor produces too much traffic for the network and jams it up, so nothing appears
