Can we get the ringer module to produce a significantly different ring tone and be able to activate this from a response.
So ideally if someone rings the doorbell (not door phone but a volt free contact connected to a push button) then we get the telephone to ring (with a different tone or duration or both). I suggest that we can create the same or similar noise from the keypad...
Hey presto we have a sensible doorbell...
If someone picks up the phone then it would say "doorbell" rather than "door phone" "press 1 for" etc

Do we have any progress on this topic - is it on the agenda yet?

Its in the queue but we cannot make any proomises on when this and other things can be implemented. There are plenty of great stuff which is not taken advantage of yet, like Scenarios in Comfigurator 3.2.7

I would still prefer a delay. If we are IN the house, we can hear the internal sounder - we don't need the phones to ring. But if we don't open a designated zone (ie Front Door) within x seconds, THEN sound the ringer. It's for this reason that i took the ringer out and have never used it.

G this was for use with systems that have a doorphone.. Then the gate IS answered from the phone and its difficult to distinguish between phone and doorphone
