Hi to all!

I think, or at least i thought that the Dialout behaviou was set by the "Alarm Type", but in a recent setting, i have a few zones that are not reporting to CMS.
Better explaining, today I made a simple test, Alarm Type 8 (power fail) dialing out to Phone Numbers 1 & 2 Set as CMS and all the CMS settings correct.
Triggered the alarm by cutting off power, and called monitoring station few minutes after.

They replied "Yes sir, we have a POWER FAILURE report, and a POWER RECOVERY report, 2 minutes after!".

So, CMS dialing was tested and checked AGAIN, bacause it was tested with the Security Company representative in the day of seting the service, and even many security zones were tested and reporting.
Since that day the man told me that zones 34 to 37 were not reporting.

I have been killing neurons to figure this out!
The zones trigger the alarm, and respect the programed behavoiur, such as start entry time... after the entry time expired, i let the alarm go sounding and wait at least a minute, though i stated "Dial Out Delay" to "No".

The Monitoring Station Company says they have no report...

Any ideas?

Firmware 5.191

Thanks in advance

Can you check what firmware you are using, 5.191 is not a released firmware version. 5.183 is the latest release

Read the event log This reports all the dial out events to the CMS and will tell you whether the dial out was attempted and whether it succeeded or did not get through, in which case it  will retry

You did not say if you tested the zones 34 to 37 when you tested the CMS

Send the event log file and the cclx file to support.cytech.biz so we can checj the setup

We have investigated your problem based on the cclx file and event log provided

The CMS dial-out did not work because the Tuning Parameter 88 "AFE Line In Gain for Remote Phone" was changed from the default of 4 to a value of 10 which is a fantastic increase in gain. This causes the handshake signal from the CMS receiver to be distorted so it cannot be detected as such by Comfort. You may want to increase this slightly if the sensitivity to DTMF tones for telephone access is too low, but you should only change by 1 or 2 steps.

The other issue is an Intruder Alarm caused by Entry Alert time-out did not attempt to dial out to the CMS even if the tune parameters are correct, allthough it did send an SMS to the 3rd phone number.

In Modules and Settings > Comfiguration Flags, you have checked "Entry Alert No CMS (DD243)" This means that an alarm caused by Entry Alert will not dial to the CMS.

This is a requirement of DD243 in the UK if a keypad is available for disarming the system, then an entry through the Entry door is NOT allowed to cause a dial-out to a CMS. The authorities think that an alarm caused by entry through the front door should not be reported to a CMS if a keypad is installed to disarm the system. They prefer a RF keyfob to disarm the sysytem so users who are too silly to key in their code will be able to press a button on the keyfob.

There is another flag "Entry Dial Delay" which is checked which is not needed. This is a requirement of the EN50131 standard.

We advise that the settings for EN50131 and DD243 should not be enabled unless you really have a need for these, like insurance requirements, and you know the effect of the settings. In my opinion these are not for the benefit of end users, only for insurance companies and police.
