I have dial tested both phones and these succeed however the system doesn't dial out when the doorbell is pressed. (see log attached)
This feature has never worked since installation but it has not been a concern before.I also noticed a reset in the log, is this significant?

The event log shows repeated alarm type Doorbell triggering until reset caused by the endless loop

11/14 20:59 Reset Comfort Controller

In Events > Misc > Doorbell  you have Response Doorbell
Also in Alarm type Dorobell you have the same Response Doorbell
Misc Events Doorbell is activated when the doorbell is presssed
Alarm Response doorbell occutrs when doorbel is pressed in Away ModeIf you already have a Misc Events doorbelll then you do not need alarm Response doorbell, as the doorbell press already triggered the Respnse

Your Response doorbell is below
Activate DoorPhone
Universal SendCommand UCM02 Doorbell
Say ZoneName

Action Activate Doorphone triggers the doorbell. This is for a zone response where you have a zone switch which trigers the doorbell
You should not assign this to the doorbell response becauase the doorbell automatically does this action. By putting actiuvate doorbell in the doorbell Response in Alarm and Misc events you are doing an endless loop caling the doorbell, which calls the doorbell again, until the system resets
SO
remove activate doorphone action
remove the Alarm Response
and the doorbell will be able to dial out

Thanks, that did the trick, however all hell let loose when I resaved the config, all the UCM commands appeared to go out of step by one command which made for some interesting scenarios. I tried to recover the previous config but it appeared to have the same problem. Am I missing something that needs to be done when reinstalling a previous config version? Thanks

Can you explain what you mean by UCM commands getting out of step
What exactly is the problem you are getting
Rewriting a configuration needs no special process, just load a file and write to Comfort

Hi, I have a UCM with RS485 which sends text messages to another system, these are triggered by responses which are in turn triggered by a RIO input. Following a change to the configuration and a save and eeprom write it appears that the commands had 'slipped' in that the command being issued was one above in the "Commands to Device" list. I tried to rewrite the old config but the command being sent were still the wrong ones. I had to rewrite a lot of the commands and responses.
One point to note is that my PC has just been rebuilt but the config file had been saved from the previous build.

You mean the wrong command was sent in the Commnds to DeviceThe only reason I can think is that the write to Univer5sal and write to Comfort were not both done so the wroong command numbetr weas sent
