Hi
My Comfort Ultra II is currently at 5.145 and I would like to upgrade the firmware to the latest release.
I thought this was possible using my UCM05, but reading the latest advice from Cytech this is only possible if I upgrade my UCM to 5.178 (currently at 5.164).
I have only recently upgraded from Comfort I to Comfort II in August, so I'm frustrated that my hardware is out of date already!!!!
Is there an easy way to upgrade my UCM05 without having to buy another UCM05 to perform the upgrade?
Many thanks
Tom

Actually your hardware is up to date, only the firmware is not up to date
You can go ahead to use UCM5.164 to upgrade your Comfort firmware, we recommend UCM5.178 because the firmare is more robist and can recover from a mistake during the upgrade
If you use UCM 5.164, is there is an error duriing the upgrade process, do not reset or switch off Comfort or the UCM. Repeat the upgrade procedure
You can also talk to your supplier to arrrange to send your UCM for them to upgrade

Ok thank for the response. I will consider whether I really need to attempt the upgrade as I don't want to risk bricking my Comfort!
