On the ETH02 I purchased this august, the "connection timeout (min)" entry in DS Manager was set to 5 minutes.

In the UCM manual downloaded from Cytech the diagram shows the "connection timeout (min)" set to "0=Disabled".

Which setting do you advise for use with ETH02?

Thanks

This should be set to 1 minute especially if used for iPhone
It disconnects if there is no communications for the idle time so it avoids a device hogging the connection
Only 1 connection at a time is allowed to the UCM/Ethernet
It is also good for security so that someone cannot pick up the phone or computer and control your system

The new firmware/application for the ETH02 should also be used
