Hi,
Can someone possibly confirm that the DS02 is compatible with Comfort 1 and also whether DM02 module is required or not?
Thanks, Mark

DM02 is a substitute for DP03 or DP01 so in theory it should work with Comfort I. However we must say that this has not been tried yet
We wil do some tests to confirm

Sorry we forgot to update you. DM02 is compatible with Comfort I. DS02 includes the DM02 and Ringer module

Can I just clarify this compatibility? I have comfort 1 with the original door station and ringer module. I would like to replace the door station with a CityMax unit, can I just buy the DM02 module? will my current ringer module still work?
I do plan to upgrade to Comfort 2 soon so dont want to buy any hardware that only works with Comfort 1.

Yes you can buy a DM02 and the Fermax and use it with Comfort I
Your ringer module can still be used
When you upgrade to Comfort 2 (which is highly recommended) you will need to get a RGR05 as your old Ringer will not work with Comfort 2

Hi, I see that the Citimax door station can use AC or DC power. is it possible to use the 12volts DC from Comfort rather than installing an additional transformer?
I am not planning to use door opening feature. Is the issue just the ammount of power that is drawn from Comfort? I have a COmfort 1 Ultra, UCM ethernet, RGO3 and a single keypad.
Many Thanks

One of the reasons why the DMO2 was introduced was to in-effect isolate the door station comms form the Comfort alarm (comforts with doorphones connected directly in remote locations did seem to suffer from spikes when there was a lightening strike etc).
Using the same power supply for both devices would (in my opinion) not be recommended.
I can recommend DIN rail mounted supplies - inthis way you could use the same mains feed and mont the transformer and doorstation equipment neatly in a consumer unit.
