Hi I am using the comfigurator to uipdate the settings on my system (comfort ii Ultra). However, once the update is completed the siren sounds for about 1 second. How can I prevent this from occur as it is very loud.

This is because at the end of the full write, there is a RESET of Comfort. This causes the siren output to turn on for one second. The only way you can prevent that is to remove the siren connection while you are doing the write
Newer Comfort hardware has changed this behaviour so that a Reset does not turn on the siren

Thanks for the response. So if I select "Write selective" the siren will not sound?

Write selective may or may not cause a reset depending on what items are selected. Some items require a reset eg Zones, Zone Types, etc while others do not
