Cameras page

Any chance of going to whole page or landscape to get the image to enlarge as much as possible?

Re-open on home page

I have noticed that the app appears to remember the page it was exited on.......

Would be good to enter via the home page every time the app is opened up!

When you press DONE and go to the keypad page, what is he connection status?
  • Connecting..
  • Data Error
  • Disconected
Also please run DS Manager to confirm the device is idle

Actually, on the point of camera\'s, mine wont work, as it requires me to put in a username and password, which I cant via the app! Any way around this ?

One additional suggestion, perhaps in the medium term, comfigurator could be adapted to include fields relevent to the iphone app, eg the ip address settings and port numbers etc, and even an export function to replicate the cytech conversion page. If it did it this way, then the implementation of the iphone app would be much easier ?

Would mean that you would not have to configure a number all your iphones seperately for example ?

Security

With the .cclx having to be loaded onto the iphone what are the security implications and how are they overcome?

The whole cclx file is not loaded into the phone, only a subset consiting of zone descriptions and home control menu so there is no security implication

We will see if the app can allow you to log in to the camera Currently it assumes that you do not need anaddtional login

Comfigurator specifies  a single Ethernet IP address and port, it does not have settings for LAN and Internet. Possibly this can be used for the LAN IP address but you would stil have to enter the Internet IP address

You can include the user name and password for the camera in the Internet IP address in the format
http://username:password@xxx.yyy.zzz.aaa:port

This should work both for Internet connection, AND LAN
Make sure you get the : and . exactly correct as it is easy to mix them up especially when typing into the iPhone
