Did the default config - I\'ve been discussing this with Chiu and Nigel direct. It made no difference - Chiu and Nigel have the logs.
Using the default config brought another problem up - the green \"Off\" LED on the KP04 didnt work !
As soon as my config went back on, it worked again

Thats certainly not the photocell that Comfort Uk are dishing out. This may explain the issues.

I bound 2 x 22k resistors giving to me by cytech with a new cytech photocell.
Same problem. Doesnt make sense how it\'s worked fine for 5 years and now not. Something there is causing it !

Interesting - I havve only just picked this thread up BUT we currently have an installation where a light sensor appears to be randomly triggering as well .........
The light sensor triggers EIB responses (lighting) and relay outputs blinds. The problem first occured when the customer experienced the electric blinds twitching during the night and lighs coming on. After investigation this all ties in with the light sensor as if the blinds are already closed and they are told to close again they simply \'twitch\'.
Could this be a faulty batch of LSM01\'s ???
Would it be a good idea to send out replacements so I can change on next site visit?

I never succeeded to make mine worked. I bought a kit from Conrad for 16ââ¬. 1 hour for a starter to build the kit. Worked on the first trial, and a few days to agjust the detection level. A month now without any problem and detection level variation.

Strange, strange, strange, I must admit that my lsm01 works flawlessly ... I can monitor the inputs with wizcomfort realtime, and even with the sensitivity set to 100ms, it comes on at the right level, and never oscillates or switch back to off ...
The only thing that I can say, is that I don\'t use the original sensor, but that\'s not gonna change it, I guess ...

This does not seem to be the same problem. Your light sensor zone was triggered at night (ie sensed light) and not during dawn or dusk when the varying levels of light caused the sensor to swtch several times. This may be a fault in the sensor or conection or the LSM. You should get a replacement to bring along.
Did this installation experience any mulltiple switching of the sensor at dawn or dusk?

The switching at dusk / dawn is fine it appears that there is intrmittent switching at random time throughout the night.

No spotlight from the neighbours which is activating the lsm photocell ??? Anyway, there are hours at which you might consider that it IS dark and will stay dark, so you can omit the photo-cell at these hours ...
Let the zone announce, and check outdoors conditions, who knows what is triggering it ... (firefly\'s ??? ;-) )
